The process nc_net.exe is the product launcher for the program NC_Net which is authored by Montitech, an independent onsulting firm that was founded by Anthony Montibello. NC_Net is the plugin for Nagios, which is recognized as an Information Technology Infrastructure monitoring software. The computer systems contain many components, and it can become very difficult to monitor all of its details. Nagios is a software that can be downloaded and installed independently. Upon its installation, Nagios can monitor all the computer's applications, servers, switches and services. Nagios can detect possible problems even before they actually happen, and it will send notifications to the user for action to be taken. It also undertakes immediate repair procedures when actual problems arise, and it will also detect security breaches. Nagios is a long term solution for any IT infrastructure.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. nc_net.exe. is used by NC_Net by Montitech, If you shut down nc_net.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop nc_net.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is NC_Net by Montitech, from your system.
