What is  msscli.exe

The process msscli.exe is a background program from the security application McAfee Anti Spyware. It is most commonly known as McAfee Real Time Client, and is located at the local drive directory inside Program Files folder. The size of this executable file ranges from 110 KB to 160 KB and runs during the start of the operating system. Though not considered a system file, this process has access to other programs and files of the computer as it monitors other applications to support McAfee Anti Spyware tasks in actively filtering programs and activities that can be deemed harmful to the user's computer. The main task of this executable file is to have the main application, which is the McAfee Anti Spyware, to run during start-up when abled by the user. It does not pull up a window of its own when running.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. msscli.exe. is used by McAfee AntiSpyware, If you shut down msscli.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
