The file javaw.exe installs the process Java for Windows. This is part of Sun Corporation’s Java Runtime software. This is basically the file that launches your Java applications on your Windows-based computer. The file is somewhat similar to another Java executable file, java.exe, in that they typically serve the same purpose: enable Java apps on your PC. The only difference is that with javaw.exe, you do not get to use Windows console, which again means you will not be able to execute commands using the cmd prompt window. This file is essential if you are running Java Runtime. Disable if you do not wish to use Java Runtime and its associated processes. However, Web browsers use Java and a number of websites use it as well, so disabling the file may prevent you from viewing such website. Shell open command name for the file is jarfile. Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. javaw.exe. is used by Java for Windows, If you shut down javaw.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop javaw.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Java for Windows, from your system.
