Microsoft Firewall Client Management or Forefront TMG Client Management is the service name of the fwcmgmt.exe file, which is an instance of an executable or EXE file, is a part of the software Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server (version 2004) or Forefront TMG Client, which is created by Microsoft Corporation. The program that houses fwcmgmt.exe is basically an application that is designed specifically for firewall configuration, providing functions related to firewall and packet filter. The fwcmgmt.exe file is a Windows process, and is a digitally signed module (Microsoft Corporation - Microsoft Time-Stamp Service), so it works with most versions of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, otherwise known as Windows operating systems, or simply Windows OS, which include later or new versions, such as Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000, Windows NT, and Windows ME.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. fwcmgmt.exe. is used by Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server (version 2004) or Forefront TMG Client, If you shut down fwcmgmt.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop fwcmgmt.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server (version 2004) or Forefront TMG Client, from your system.
