Pharos Systems ComTaskMaster is the service name of the file ctskmstr.exe, which is a component of the program Pharos Blueprint Enterprise, otherwise known as Pharos Blueprint, or sometimes called as simply PHAROS, and is developed by Pharos Systems International. Pharos Blueprint Enterprise is a type of print management software that is exclusively designed and intended for companies and corporate enterprises, that provides printing security, waste reduction and cost savings, which eventually optimize printing activities of a company or corporation. Pharos Systems ComTaskMaster, or ctskmstr.exe, is an important component that makes up the functions of Pharos Blueprint Enterprise. Therefore, this module needs to be kept stored and remain running on the system, unless it is causing errors due to file corruption, accidental deletion or virus infection. While it does not provide any computer threats, the ctskmstr.exe file has to continuously run in the background of a Windows computer, regardless of the operating system used.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. ctskmstr.exe. is used by PHAROS or Pharos Blueprint or Pharos Blueprint Enterprise, If you shut down ctskmstr.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop ctskmstr.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is PHAROS or Pharos Blueprint or Pharos Blueprint Enterprise, from your system.

After uninstalling applications it is a good idea to scan you Windows registry for any left over traces of applications. Registry Reviver by ReviverSoft is a great tool for doing this.

A process usually a part of an installed application such as PHAROS or Pharos Blueprint or Pharos Blueprint Enterprise, or your operating system that is responsible for running in functions of that application. Some application require that they have processes running all the time so they can do things such as check for updates or notify you when you get an instant message. Some poorly written applications have many processes that run that may not be required and take up valuable processing power within your computer.

The first thing you should do if ctskmstr.exe. is causing errors on your computer is to run a Windows registry scan with Registry Reviver If you are still seeing errors after this you should uninstall the program that ctskmstr.exe, belongs to, in this case PHAROS or Pharos Blueprint or Pharos Blueprint Enterprise
