What is  cssurf.exe

The cssurf.exe file is an executable component process of the Comodo SafeSurf software, which is a Windows program classified as a valid BHO (Browser Helper Object) or Web browser plugin that is distributed as one of the component tools included in the Comodo Internet Security suite of applications. During the installation process of the Comodo Internet Security software, an option to install the Comodo SafeSurf Toolbar is presented to the user, and when the user enables this option, the Comodo SafeSurf Toolbar plugin is integrated into the supported Web browsers that are installed in the system. The cssurf.exe process is specifically deployed into the system to assist the Comodo SafeSurf Toolbar in implementing its data security protocols and user privacy policies into the compatible Web browsers of the Windows-based computer, and to aid in the integration of its context menu and control panel options into the shell of these supported Web browsers.
