The bandmon.exe file is the process called Bandwidth Monitor that is used by the application Bandwidth Monitor created by Rokario Software. This executable file is found in the subfolder C:\Program Files. Known sizes for the file include 1,428,480 bytes and 1,529,856 bytes with 66% occurrence. This program uses an icon on the taskbar. It uses a visible window. It is a non-system file for Windows. You can access the program on Windows Control Panel. The bandmon.exe process can record inputs. The Bandwidth Monitor is a data meter software for Windows systems. It provides elements such as custom images, graphs, shapes and text areas to allow you to display only the data that you want to display. It has programmable notifications for you to check network connections. It has real-time data and Web output that third party developers can work with.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. bandmon.exe. is used by Bandwidth Monitor, If you shut down bandmon.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop bandmon.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Bandwidth Monitor, from your system.
