What is  avgtdix.sys

An Internet Security software as well as an anti virus software called AVG has a file namely AVG Network Connection Watcher which is also known as the avgtdix.sys. This software is a process which enables the software to update the database in case some malicious software is not yet listed. The file can be usually found in the directory C:\Windows\System32\drivers and has the file size of 107.272 bytes in the Hard Disk Drive (HDD). This file size usually changes depending on different versions of Operating System used such as Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. The software is started automatically when the Operating System (OS) is started. The file belongs to a trusted software which certified Microsoft Corporation. This process however can be removed by the user by uninstalling the entire software called AVG. the removal can be done with the help of the Add/Remove program situated in the Control Panel of the Microsoft Operating System.
