The aptezbp.exe process is also identified as IBM Rapid Access Keyboard. This program was developed by IBM. The IBM Rapid Access Keyboard allows its users to access specific applications in a quick manner. This desktop keyboard consists of 16 color-coded buttons. These buttons are called Rapid Access Buttons and each of these has its special tasks. These buttons also allows users to immediately access frequently used computer functions. Three of the special color-coded buttons are fixed to access Web pages that are powered by Lycos. These web pages supply standard features such as news, sports, and weather. A user may also personalize the features to get more specific and desired information. The IBM Rapid Access Keyboard also has audio and CD control keys that includes mute, play, and pause buttons. Special buttons that functions to move browser forward or backward is also provided. This enables a user to surf the internet in a fast manner.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. aptezbp.exe. is used by IBM Rapid Access Keyboard, If you shut down aptezbp.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
