The executable process file, activation.exe, is an Activation Manager or Microsoft Money Startup that belongs to the software Microsoft Money (version 2002) or Activation Manager by Microsoft or Tages SAS. Furthermore, it is known to be a part of Microsoft Windows licensing security setup, where it is considerable developed by Microsoft. The process file is found running in the Task Manager as the process activation.exe, with several features including being a compressed file with no visible window and is not considered as a Windows system file. The application that uses the process file activation.exe in Windows XP has a size file as occurring in 71% is 241,714 bytes or 245,810 bytes. The process file activation.exe is also found to be located in the subfolder C:\Program Files. Its functionality mainly ensures that the host PC has a valid and full software license.
