What is  urlmap.exe

The process urlmap.exe is termed Money URL Map as its service name, a type of an executable or EXE file, and is a part of the application Microsoft Money, particularly version 2002, which is developed by Microsoft Corporation. Microsoft Money URL Map is used in conjunction with the web browser Internet Explorer so it can display a side bar of links that are related to finance, so when a user search or surfs the web, there is a tab for easy and quick access to any financial information. The urlmap.exe is a component of this program, so it is an essential process that needs to run in the background. In addition, this file works with most versions of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, including new and popular versions, such as Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 2000, and Windows NT. Whichever Windows operating system or OS is used, the urlmap.exe file must not be terminated or stopped, unless it is causing problems that affect the performance of the system.
