The accelerate.exe file is mostly known simply as accelerate.exe. It has not yet been associated to any product software but it was developed by Webroot Software. Webroot Software is an online company or site that offers anti-spyware products and services. It offers protection for home and mobile uses as well as business security. The Webroot Software service offers security software that is easy to install as well as easy to use. It also offers a free trial that does not pose risks or threat to business owners. The file, accelerate.exe, therefore, is part of this anti-spyware program of Webroot Software. The file is capable of tracking or recording inputs to a user’s computer although it is said to be at 38% risky with regard to its security. This file is usually located on the Windows computer’s C:\Program Files folder with storage size of 2,231,296 bytes on Windows 7 and Windows XP operating systems.
