Gbonds

Gbonds is a savings bond inventory application for GNOME. It is a free software that supports Linux and POSIX systems. It keeps a record of your savings bonds and enables you to keep track of the performance and redemption value of your bonds in U.S. currency. It helps you to manage your individual bonds and the entire inventory at the same time. It has similar functions as Windows application, Saving Bonds Wizard, which was distributed by U.S. Treasury and imports inventories from this program. It uses U.S. Treasury redemption files without any modification. SBW [US Treasury Savings Bond Wizard] file is the financial data file created by the program Savings Bond Wizard of the US Treasury that stores financial records including denomination, serial number, purchase date, interest, projected values and yield. It is also used to track and calculate personal investments. It tracks savings notes and I, EE and E savings bonds. It prints inventories to keep a permanent record for safekeeping.
