Microsoft BizTalk Mapper

Microsoft BizTalk Mapper is an application used for creating and editing maps that are implemented for the translation or for transforming XML messages. This is contained inside the Microsoft Visual Studio environment. In orchestrations, Maps are important components. The Maps can also be used in processing the messages that were received from a port. Then the message would be sent after the transformation through sent port. Biztalk Mapper has its own graphical user interface and icons which represents translation and transformation of the inputted messages to the output instance messages. Taking information from the message and putting it into another message is called transformation while the conversion of message into different kinds of format is called translation. This software uses the same representation such as BizTalk Editor and stores the maps as XSLT (Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations) stylesheets. Biztalk Mapper will allow the user to define the relationship between output and input.
