This process file known as yserver.exe can simply be called YServer Module, which belongs to the Yahoo! Messenger product. This file is also known in other names, such as YServer Module and Yahoo!Messenger with BT, in which both products were developed and manufactured by Yahoo. This file records every keystroke done on a keyboard and is located in C:\Program Files folder of a windows computer. The file sizes vary from 53,248 bytes, which occurs 36% on a Windows 7 and XP operating system, to 91,376 bytes or 91,640 bytes. Sometimes it is at 84,992 bytes or 91,128 bytes. The associated program of yserver.exe, Yahoo! Messenger or Yahoo! Messenger with BT, can be uninstalled easily from the control panel of a user’s computer if not needed and if it is causing errors or problems with regard to the computer’s performance. Yahoo! Messenger allows users to send and receive instant messages from people registered on the Yahoo server.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. yserver.exe. is used by Yahoo! Messenger or Yahoo! Messenger with BT, If you shut down yserver.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop yserver.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Yahoo! Messenger or Yahoo! Messenger with BT, from your system.
