The file yop.exe process is a security suite that helps the computer system of the user to be completely protected against viruses, wild attacks, malwares, privacy breakers and other harms by scanning your hard disks and registry and destroying manifestation. This process is also known as Dashboard Module belongs to SBC Yahoo! Online Protection. This process sets up on computers and gathers data about the buyers without their attachment. It is secretly installed on computers with shared or in corporational network to track other users. This file protects the computer system while the user is online and browsing the Web. IE is oftentimes involved in the installation of Dashboard Module for SBC Yahoo! Online Protection and machines with IE software is pregnable to yop.exe. The yop.exe process is not required to run at startup. Yop.exe is an executable program located on your computer's hard drive at c;\PROGRA~1\Yahoo!\YOP\yop.exe/autostart. It is considered a safe file and it is not a spyware module.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. yop.exe. is used by Yahoo, If you shut down yop.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
