The file xboxstat.exe is from the software which is Microsoft Xbox (version 360 Accessories). This software was made and developed by the Microsoft Corporation. This file is a part of the driver for the Xbox 360 wireless gaming pad. The file can be usually found in the C:\Program Files and has the known file size of 734,263 bytes in the Hard Disk Drive (HDD). But the file size may vary when used in different version of Operating System. Such Systems are the Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. The file xboxstat.exe does not belong to the Windows Core system file but is a certified trusted file from a trusted company (Microsoft). This means that this file is not recommended to be removed for it will cause malfunction in the Xbox 360. However, the user may have the option to remove the file by removing the entire software in which the file is associated with.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. xboxstat.exe. is used by Xbox, If you shut down xboxstat.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop xboxstat.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Xbox, from your system.
