Wifi Service is installed through the file wifisvc.exe. This is an executable file that comes with the software for NETGEAR Wireless USB Adapter. Although there is not enough information about the process that the file installs, most users who found the file on their PCs after installing the software for their NETGEAR device chose to keep the file to avoid any device errors. The file has not been found as behaving negatively on the PC, and it has not been cited as a malicious file, hence; the action most undertaken by users is to leave the file running on their machines. File version 2.1.0.22 has a standard path of C:\Program Files\NETGEAR\WNA1100\wifisvc.exe. This file version is most compatible with computers that are installed with Windows 7 OS.
