The wbfrmwrk.exe file is an executable application process that many user reports claim to be a malicious application associated with the Spy.Agent Trojan. This malware program has been reported to be integrated with both Trojan and spyware component functionalities. Some users stated that the wbfrmwrk.exe process can automatically run on its own during system startup because of entries and keys it can create and inject into the Windows System Registry upon its placement and activation in the Windows system. Upon successful execution, the wbfrmwrk.exe process then proceeds to find vulnerable TCP/IP network ports in order to initiate contact with Web servers that are operated and managed by its authors, according to the same user reports. The wbfrmwrk.exe process does this, as some users reported, in order to download other malware programs that can harm user privacy and data security, gather pieces of data like Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and Internet browsing details from the system and the Web browser, and negatively affect the stability of the system.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. wbfrmwrk.exe. is used by Spy.Agent, If you shut down wbfrmwrk.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop wbfrmwrk.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Spy.Agent, from your system.
