Created by VERITAS Software Corporation, the process called vxsvc.exe is a part of the program Volume Manager for Windows, specifically version 2000, and named as Volume Manager Service as its service name. The vxsvc.exe file is a type of an executable or EXE module, which means it is easy to install and remove whenever. During the installation of the program, which houses the module, the vxsvc.exe process is downloaded onto the computer, where it stores itself on a file folder location, usually in C:\Program Files, or sometimes in C:\Windows or C:\Documents and Settings, as well as register into the Windows registry with registry keys and execution command.
