The vongoservice.exe process is an executable program file included with other executable application components, some DLL modules, certain SYS driver files, various background processes and associated resource files that are used and referenced by the Vongo software. This is a Windows program classified as a video download manager application that was developed by Starz Entertainment Group with a set of integrated features for downloading, organizing and managing videos from Starz Entertainment Group servers. The vongoservice.exe process and the Vongo software are bundled with certain HP laptops, and the vongoservice.exe process is implemented into the system upon the activation and configuration of the Vongo software. The vongoservice.exe process is activated by the system whenever the Vongo program is loaded by the user unto the system. The vongoservice.exe process is also called Vongo Download Manager, which is a module built into the Vongo software.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. vongoservice.exe. is used by Starz Entertainment Group Vongo and Vongo Download Manager Module, If you shut down vongoservice.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop vongoservice.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Starz Entertainment Group Vongo and Vongo Download Manager Module, from your system.
