The vmusrvc.exe file is an executable application process included with other EXE program files, certain Dynamic Link Library (DLL) modules, some SYS drivers, various background processes and associated components that are used by Microsoft Windows for implementing virtual machine add-on functionalities. The vmusrvc.exe process is bundled with the installer distribution packages of Microsoft Windows, which means the vmusrvc.exe file is integrated into the system during the Microsoft Windows installation process. The vmusrvc.exe file is usually found in the "drivers" folder under the System32 sub directory, which is stored in the Windows directory of the system partition. The system partition is the hard disk location where Microsoft Windows was installed. The vmusrvc.exe process is specifically implemented as one of the components of the Virtual Machine User Services module of the Virtual Machine Additions applet, which is built into the Microsoft Windows system.
