What is  urllstck.exe

The urllstck.exe file is an executable application process included with other EXE files, certain Dynamic Link Library modules, various background processes, some SYS drivers and other associated resources that are needed by the Norton Internet Security software, which is a Windows program classified as a system security application designed by Symantec with a set of tools for monitoring, detecting and protecting the system against data security risks, user privacy threats and system stability problems that can be caused by hacker attacks and Web-based or local malicious programs like spyware applications, Trojans, viruses, worms, backdoor rootkits and worms among other malware items. The urllstck.exe process is specifically deployed as the URL Check List module of the Norton Internet Security program, which means the urllstck.exe process is activated by the Norton Internet Security software whenever it requires to implement its URL checking and updating functions into the system upon user request. The urllstck.exe file is placed in the system upon the installation of the Norton Internet Security application, which also means the urllstck.exe process is implemented into the installer distribution packages of the Norton Internet Security program.
