What is  trueinstall.exe

The trueinstall.exe file is an executable application process implemented with certain DLL modules, EXE program files, SYS driver components and other associated resources that are used and referenced by the True Switch program, which is a Windows application classified as an ISP management tool that was developed with a set of features for managing ISP connections and switching between different Internet connectivity options. The True Switch software is bundled with certain ISP client applications, which are Windows programs categorized as client Internet connection management tools that are provided by some ISPs (Internet Service Providers) to their data service subscribers. The True Switch application has been reported to be packaged with the ISP client software offered by Yahoo! to their SBC Yahoo! DSL subscribers, and the trueinstall.exe process is implemented into the installers of these ISP client programs. This also means the trueinstall.exe process is placed in the system upon the installation of the True Switch program and associated ISP client software.
