The tgsrvc.exe process is an executable file for Windows, and a part of the software SupportSoft Repair Service, which is developed by SupportSoft, Inc, and digitally signed by GlobeClickFix (VeriSign Time Stamping Services Signer - G2). This program is a support service application that provides solutions and assistance to users when they are having technical problems with their computer, or certain programs. The tgsrvc.exe file is executed as a background Windows Service using tgsrvc_verizondm as the service name. With that said, this file, or the SupportSoft Repair Service program, is basically a component of the Verizon In-Home Agent, which is an application that gives solutions for FiOS and High Speed Internet questions. This application provides assistance and support 24 hours and 7 days a week, in a step by step procedure to guide and help the user fix his or her computer problems. As an executable file, tgsrvc.exe may be disabled or removed without giving any effect on other applications or programs installed in the computer system.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. tgsrvc.exe. is used by SupportSoft Repair Service, If you shut down tgsrvc.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop tgsrvc.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is SupportSoft Repair Service, from your system.
