What is  tcpsvcs.exe

Tcpsvcs.exe is the executable file for Transmission Control Protocol Services, the communications protocol sets used for the Internet and similar networks. Commonly known as TCP (Transmission Control Protocol), tcpsvcs.exe is among the core protocols in the Internet Protocol Suite. TCP complements the IP or Internet Protocol. These two servers are the original components of the network suite, referred to as the TCP/IP. TCP provides reliable delivery of octet stream from one program on a computer to another program of another computer. The TCP server is used by the major Internet application World Wide Web, as well as email, file transfer, and remote administration. This protocol server corresponds to the layer transport of the TCP/IP suite in which TCP provides the communication service within an intermediate level between the program application and the Internet Protocol. When the application program requires to send large chunks of data to the Internet using the IP, through the TCP, instead of dividing the data into IP pieces and issuing several series of IP requests or requirements, the software issues one single request to the TCP to let the TCP handle the IP specifications.
