What is  sysocmgr.exe

The sysocmgr.exe file is the executable process for System Optional Component Manager, a process file for the program System stand-alone Optional Component Manager, a software developed by Microsoft Corporation. The System stand-alone Optional Component Manager installs a set of optional Windows SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) components using the operating systems such as Windows 2000, Windows 2003, Windows XP, Windows 2003 model R2. WSRM or Windows System Resource Manager is recently integrated into Windows Server 2008. WSRM provides management resources and is used for controlling the resources used based on the priorities of a specific business or scheduled task. The Process Matching Criteria defined by the process type, name, or owner, restricts the resource usage with a matching criterion to the process, such as the CPU time, processors that can be run on, bandwidths use, and process allocation. Restrictions are only set to be imposed according to a specific date defined by the user.
