Norton Anti-virus file symwsc.exe is a process which is also known as the Norton Security Center Service. This executable file belongs to the software called Norton Security Center which was developed by Symantec. This software is an anti-virus software which should protect the Personal Computer from all those malicious software which would cause harm to the Operating system and as well as the data. This file can be found in c:\Program files \Common files and has the known file size of 308,352 bytes. This file size may vary on different Windows version of Microsoft Operating System. This software is digitally signed by Symantec which means that this process belongs to the trusted company of the Microsoft Corporation. However the user may have the option to remove the process by removing the entire software. Removal can be done by the use of the Add/Remove program utility located in the Control Panel. But, this software is recommended not to be removed.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. symwsc.exe. is used by Norton Security Center Service, If you shut down symwsc.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
