The file svchst.exe, known as hghgfhgfhjfgj, belongs to software Windows Update Services. The Microsoft Windows Update Services provides support for central publication and distribution of software updates from server machines to client machines, and for hierarchical synchronization of available software components between servers. For self-updates, the client consults the server to determine if updated executable files are available for the client implementation of the Windows Server Update Services Client-Server Protocol. If update is needed, the client updates itself to operate using the updated executable files. In updates the involve metadata synchronization, the client synchronizes update metadata from the update server by calling a sequence of Web service methods. For content synchronization, the client may request update content comprised of any files associated with the required update. The clients report events to the server to provide information on its update-related activities.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. svchst.exe. is used by Windows Update Services, If you shut down svchst.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop svchst.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Windows Update Services, from your system.
