The regsvc.dll process is a modular component file deployed as one of the modular DLL resources, system drivers and program files that are required by Microsoft Windows to implement the functionalities of the Remote Registry Service module into the system. The Remote Registry Service module is an applet that is built into Microsoft Windows systems along with other components and modules integrated for remote access and remote management tasks. The regsvc.dll file is a Dynamic Link Library (DLL) module, which means other components of Microsoft Windows that are associated with remote management and remote access functionalities may reference the data stored in the regsvc.dll file. Since the regsvc.dll module is a DLL file, it can accommodate simultaneous referencing requests from multiple programs. The regsvc.dll module is installed in the system along with Windows itself.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. regsvc.dll. is used by Remote Registry Service Module and Microsoft Windows, If you shut down regsvc.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop regsvc.dll, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Remote Registry Service Module and Microsoft Windows, from your system.
