What is  regscan.exe

The process regscan.exe is also known as Microsoft Registry Scanner that has been developed by Microsoft under the Microsoft Operating System software. This is mostly located in the “C:\Windows\System32” folder with file size 325,123 bytes (10% only) and can range from 342,016 bytes and 289,280 bytes, 320,000 bytes and 315,904 bytes, and so on. This is not a Windows system file and is undetected on the Windows folder. It does not have a visible display window when running. The Microsoft Registry Scanner software is important in scanning for information about how the registry is doing. The main task of the software is to scan for unnecessary data or information on the registry and sends a message to the user about what it collected. Then it also goes on to delete those items that have been left over by stopped or disabled programs that may impede the normal functioning of other computer processes.
