The registry.exe process is also known as Sage Registry Service. It belongs to the software Sage Office Line and owned by the company Sage KHK Software or Sage Software. There is not a lot of information gathered for this process. The application is not visible within the computer system and it is not a Windows core file. The process can be uninstalled from the Control Panel. The process contains a technical security rating of 26% dangerous, which makes it relatively safe for the user to run; however, the user needs to be aware of the possibility that this process can contain some potential threats that he or she needs to take cautionary measures of, which can be guided by whenever this program is running in order to promote security for the user’s computer system. It is advisable for the user to keep this process running within the computer system and should not be terminated, since removing it may cause the computer system to behave unpredictably. This process may contribute to the PC’s overall performance.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. registry.exe. is used by Sage Registry Service, If you shut down registry.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop registry.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Sage Registry Service, from your system.
