The rcman.exe process is also known as Remote Control Manager. It belongs to the software Creative Media Source and owned by the company Creative Technology. This process is the remote control software for the Creative’s digital audio player (for Creative Media Source 2) for their MP3/WMA jukebox. It is not a Windows core file. The process can be removed from the Control Panel. The application is loaded upon the boot process of Windows. This process has the technical security rating of 49% dangerous, making it relatively of mixed reviews according to the users. The user needs to be aware of the possibility that this process poses some potential dangers and warnings that he or she needs to take vigilant measures of, which can be adhered to whenever this program is running in order to promote safety for the user’s computer system.
