The pmropn.exe executable file appears to be part of the software that installs a program called PremierOpinion, which also happens to be the file’s process name. There is no specific definition of the file that can be found, and there is also no detailed information available regarding the software. What users basically experienced with the file is that it was found to be installed on their computers without their knowledge or consent. The file has mostly been identified as a form of backdoor virus which automatically installed itself, and then rendered the system vulnerable to more malicious attacks. Based on the accounts of a lot of users, the file posed different security risks to their PCs; and uninstalling it or disabling it did not solve the problem, because when the PC reboots, the file is found installed and running once again. A number of users also identified the file as a form of adware or spyware.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. pmropn.exe. is used by PremierOpinion, If you shut down pmropn.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop pmropn.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is PremierOpinion, from your system.
