The photoshopserver.exe file is an executable component process packaged with the Adobe Photoshop software among other applications from Adobe Systems. The photoshopserver.exe process is specifically deployed as a background process used and referenced by the associated Adobe software whenever the program needs to open files saved in the Photoshop design (PSD) format. The photoshopserver.exe process is also associated with the Font Capture module of these Adobe applications. Since the photoshopserver.exe process is included in the program files and modules of these compatible Adobe programs, the photoshopserver.exe process is installed in the system upon the installation of these Adobe applications. The photoshopserver.exe process is activated by the associated Adobe software whenever PSD files are opened using Adobe applications or whenever the Font Capture module is required to be loaded unto the system by the associated Adobe program.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. photoshopserver.exe. is used by Adobe Photoshop and Other Adobe Applications and Adobe Font Capture Module, If you shut down photoshopserver.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop photoshopserver.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Adobe Photoshop and Other Adobe Applications and Adobe Font Capture Module, from your system.
