What is  pddm.exe

The pddm.exe process is an executable file named as Desktop Deployment Manager, which is an essential component of the software PatchLink Update Agent, a product developed by PatchLink Corporation. This software enables a user to scan patches much faster, scale to large networks, and optimize network bandwidth utilization, with the usage of less bandwidth. As its name suggests, pddm.exe is a component that is considered important to the software. Once the PatchLink Update Agent program is installed on a computer, the pddm.exe file is automatically downloaded too, since it is bundled with the application, then stored on a folder location, usually in C:\Program Files, and remain there to run in the background whenever the software is launched. This module may be also called by other processes that make up the software. It only means that the file pddm.exe is valuable.
