The file origin.exe is the main executable for the Origin software, a type of cross-platform gaming software published by Electronic Arts. The file provides users with a single application for all your games, whether these are using the Xbox Live, PlayStation, Apple or Android platform. It also allows the user to stay connected with friends on a gaming network and buy video game software. This file is recommended for heavy gamers. If you will not be playing games anymore, you can safely uninstall the file. It has been reported as using too much of CPU resources. It is recommended that the user disable it from running upon startup because it is not a required system file, and system loading may take more time with this additional file included in your startup tasks. Look at your startup tasks and search for “EADM,” this is the startup identifier of the file. File path of the process is C:\Program Files\Origin\origin.exe.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. origin.exe. is used by Origin, If you shut down origin.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop origin.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Origin, from your system.
