Opera Internet Browser is executed through opera.exe. This is the main executable for the Web browser, which enables users to surf the Internet through Opera. The browser basically works in much the same way as other Web browsers: allowing you to visit websites, access your Web-based email account, chat, access your social networking accounts, and do several other online activities. The file generally executes as a 32-bit program and is compatible with Windows operating systems. There are 3 non-system modules that are loaded by opera.exe. These are easyhook32.dll, npswf32_11_4_402_287.dll and opera.dll. The first DLL file is from Speed-Bit LTD, the second one is Shockwave Flash from Adobe Systems, and the last is the DLL file for Opera Internet Browser. The file’s parent process is explorer.exe. Process command is “C:\Program Files\Opera\opera.exe.” Size on disk is 857.89 KB. The file appears to consume too much RAM space, where RAM utilization averages at 149.07 MB, while committed memory usage is 370.4 MB.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. opera.exe. is used by Opera Internet Browser, If you shut down opera.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop opera.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Opera Internet Browser, from your system.
