What is  oembios.exe

The process called oembios.exe, which is labeled as an executable or EXE file, and is a component of the application Messenger, also its service name, which is created by Microsoft Corporation. This file process is added onto the computer system, where it is registered into the Windows registry with a run identifier and an execution command, then stored on a folder location, usually in C:\Program Files, or C:\Documents and Settings, and automatically runs in the background as a service of the program that houses it. In addition to that, oembios.exe is compatible with most or all versions of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, or Windows OS, which include Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000, Windows NT, and Windows ME. However, this process needs to remain stored and active, which means it must not be terminated, unless it is causing problems that affect the Windows OS.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. oembios.exe. is used by Messenger, If you shut down oembios.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop oembios.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Messenger, from your system.
