What is nclaunch.exe
The process nclaunch.exe, also called NC Launch or Launcher, is an executable program in the SWF Studio Launcher that launches the application SWF Studio from Northern Codeworks. It is a vital component of the application, and is installed not only as part of the SWF Studio suite but also bundled in self-extracting Flash-based screensaver created using SWF Studio. The application SWF Studio extends the functionality of the Flash Player, turning Flash and Flex into desktop application development tools. It has the capability to read and write files in ANSI or UNicode formats, and use ActiveX control in Flash applications. Capabilities include display of PDF files, a dynamic code execution with JScript to extend applications, and a feature that allows users to embed a browser control. It is compatible with all versions of Flash, KoolMoves, SWISHmax and Flex, and provides a stable platform for building desktop applications and screensavers. The use of Flash-based screensavers automatically installs nclaunch.exe, even if the application SWF Studio is not installed.
