NeroUpdate, a process that is installed with your Nero Burning ROM v10 software with the file extension nasvc.exe, provides your Nero service with the necessary updates that will make it run more efficiently. Usually, applications that are not updated present conflicts with other processes installed on your computer. The conflict may show up when you try to launch the application, or in most cases, during startup if the software was set to launch with boot-up. In some cases, users experience conflicts between their Firewall and the update process. Disabling the file to prevent it from starting with every boot-up addressed the issue and resolved the conflict. Majority of users actually disable the file so it will not launch every time the computer boots-up, because they find that the software does not have constant updates available. Looking for updates manually was the preferred option. The file is generally stored in C:\Program Files\Nero\Update\nasvc.exe. Average RAM usage is 1.89 MB.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. nasvc.exe. is used by NeroUpdate, If you shut down nasvc.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop nasvc.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is NeroUpdate, from your system.
