The process nalntsrv.exe is a component of the file Zenlite, which is a Novell Application Launcher from the company Novell Inc. This executable file is used in the download process for the Novell product ZenWorks Desktop Management. The suite of software in ZenWorks feature tools that can be used to manage the entire life cycle of desktop PCs, servers, handheld devices like personal desk assistants (PDAs), and laptops. Users can employ the desktop management software to automate various computer-related tasks in an organization. It can streamline IT operations and reduce the need for IT support since the management of computers in the organization is simplified. Troubleshooting, software installation, and software patches that are done via the automated network can reduce the turnaround time for IT support. The remote desktop support that is installed in each device in the network will facilitate communication and execution of instructions from a server.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. nalntsrv.exe. is used by ZenWork Desktop Management, If you shut down nalntsrv.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop nalntsrv.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is ZenWork Desktop Management, from your system.
