What is  mysqld.exe

Mysqld.exe is the executable for MySQL or Structured Query Language, the most used open-source database management system server providing a multi-user access to majority of databases. Its development project generated its source code under the GNU General Public License and under proprietary agreements. SQL is used in web applications, the central component of LAMP open-source application where global users have the freedom of editing Web-based materials. LAMP stands for Linux, Apache, MySQL, Perl/PHP/Python. Commercial editions are available, which similarly offer basic and additional functionalities. These applications include: WordPress, TYPO3, Joomla, phpBB, Drupal, MyBB, and other LAMP-based software. MySQL is used in large-scale, high-profile World Wide Web products which include Facebook, Wikipedia, Google, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr, and Nokia.com. Users use the command line tools called MySQL tool, desktop application and web applications to create and manage databases, back up data, build database structures, and network data records to administer MySQL databases.
