The msc.exe process is an executable file that pertains to MSC MFC Application or MSC Application, also known as MSC.Licensing, and a part of MSC Messenger software, which is a product manufactured by NetSMS inc. MSC Messenger is a program that enables a person send messages to his or friends and family, as well as play Flash games, share files or folders, and show photos. This is an applicatication that features a fun way of communicating with people via the Internet. Like other messengers, this one has both public and private chat, voice and video chat, with more than 124 winks to use. What make it different from other common messengers are the offline messages, voice mail, SMS, and MMS capabilities. Since msc.exe is the core component, the MSC Messenger software is not enabled without the launcher file. Once the program is installed, the msc.exe file comes with it and stores itself on a folder location on Windows computer, then runs in the background.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. msc.exe. is used by MSC Messenger, If you shut down msc.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop msc.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is MSC Messenger, from your system.
