The process called lxdncoms.exe is an instance of an executable or EXE file, and is a component of the program Printer Communication System, which is developed by Lexmark International, Inc. Basically, lxdncoms.exe starts to run as a background process of Windows called lxdn_device, once it is added onto the computer, where it registers itself into a Windows registry, and stores on a folder location. If this software product is installed onto the computer system, lxdncoms.exe begins to run after its successful installation, and needs to remain stored. It must not be deleted or stopped, especially that it has a digital signature from Lexmark International, Inc. - VeriSign Time Stamping Services Signer - G2, which makes it more essential to keep it running as a background service. The only time it must be deleted is when it is causing problems that affect the performance of the system. Speaking of system, lxdncoms.exe works with most versions of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. lxdncoms.exe. is used by Printer Communication System, If you shut down lxdncoms.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
