Device Monitor Application or Device Monitor Application is the service name of the process lxdcamon.exe, which is an executable or EXE file, and is a part of the software product branded as Lexmark Imaging Studio or Microsoft Money (version 2006) or Design & Print, Business, which is created by Lexmark International, Inc., also known as Lexmark. Once the program that houses this module is installed onto the computer, the lxdcamon.exe file begins to run in the background, while it is registered into the Windows registry and stored on a file folder usually named as C:\Program Files, if not in C:\Windows or C:\Documents and Settings. Furthermore, lxdcamon.exe is a file that works in certain versions of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, also commonly known as Windows operating systems or OS, which includes later versions, such as Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000, Windows NT, and Windows ME.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. lxdcamon.exe. is used by Lexmark Imaging Studio or Microsoft Money (version 2006) or Design & Print, Business, If you shut down lxdcamon.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop lxdcamon.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Lexmark Imaging Studio or Microsoft Money (version 2006) or Design & Print, Business, from your system.
