The lssrvc.exe process is also known as the HP LightScribe and was created by the Hewlett-Packard Corporation. The company is one of the widely known computer manufacturer globally. It specializes in creating and manufacturing computing, data storage, designing software, networking hardware and delivering services. Their famous products are personal computing devices, industry standard servers, networking products, related storage devices, software and a diverse range of printers and other imaging products. Hewlett Packard’s products are marketable and can be used in households, businesses and enterprises. The HP LightScribe, an optical disc recording technology, uses specially coated recordable CD and DVD media. It produces a laser-etched label including graphics or texts, instead of stick-on labels and printable discs. The process makes use of innovative technology and uses a special disk drive in order to burn DVD labels onto the DVD itself along with a special label etch. It is considered to be convenient by customers and an efficient component of the computer system.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. lssrvc.exe. is used by HP LightScribe, If you shut down lssrvc.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop lssrvc.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is HP LightScribe, from your system.
