The lmiguardiansvc.exe process is also known as the LMIGuardianSvc which was created by the LogMeIn, Inc. The LMIGuardianSvc is considered to be the core of LogMeIn Windows Service. The proprietary remote desktop protocol by the LogMeIn remote access is typically submitted through SSL. Users usually benefit from this program with the program’s ability to access remote desktops using either a web portal or the LogMeIn Ignition stand-alone application. It connects the remote desktop with a local computer with the use of SSL over UDP or TCP and making use of NAT traversal techniques to reach peer-to-peer connectivity when it is available. Mobile workers and consumers use LogMeIn solutions in order to back up and gain access to their remote computers online. There are multiple options for remote desktop control which includes the access from a Windows laptop, computer, or Pocket PC to increase their productivity and mobility.
