The process lfka.exe or LFKA.exe is a Lenovo Function Key Agent that is automatically launched during the start-up of the Windows operating system. It is usually related with .dll files that contain a source code to perform certain functions or is needed to communicate with a specific device like the printer or the keyboard. The dynamic link library (.dll) is a group of small programs that is not loaded into the random access memory (RAM) together with the operating system programs to save disk space. These files are accessed only when the executable program (EXE) needs the information they contain to properly launch an application or to execute a function. Though the process lfka.exe it is not a critical executable file in the operating system and is not a Windows core file, it is a critical component for managing the performance of .dll files associated with it.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. lfka.exe. is used by LFKA, If you shut down lfka.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop lfka.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is LFKA, from your system.
