What is  itype.exe

The itype.exe file installs a process from Microsoft known as IntelliType Pro. The process is typically used for Microsoft keyboards, where you can configure your keyboard in a way that best suits your preference. For instance, you can assign or re-assign keys to enable you to access certain programs installed on your PC. You may also assign special keys to access files and documents, and also specific Web pages. In addition to all of these, you can assign keys to execute certain commands like Show Desktop. If you have always had trouble with accidentally pressing certain keys, you can also disable the keys. Basically, what the file provides for users is an easier way to manipulate their keyboards, according to your own choices or preferences.
